Swim, Walk, Mall Cop.

SaturdayMedthodist Walkathon at unearthly hour of 7 on SATURDAY. That's even earlier than a normal school day! Lucky us for being one of the classes that raised the least. Haha. Anyway, I thought it'd be like a nice morning walk. But it was a FOUR KILOMETRES walk. I wonder how the kids made it all the way.
I love this picture.
Headed to KAP to meet DAWN AND CARISSA :D I slept for like an hour while they played Mortimer. Haha. Finally got the Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends album
WITH the Prospekt's March [EP]! I'm so ridiculously happy now :) And we watched Mall Cop (Shopaholic was sold out, grah) which was quite a terrible alternative. The storyline was honestly crap but it was lamely entertaining. Haha.
FridayFIRST SWIM PE. It wasn't that weird cause there were less than 10 guys. Hahaha. We did categorizations and I'm in Freestyle 1. I really didn't know how to swim freestyle so attempted it terribly (starting laughing, then choking). Haha. Conclusion: swim PE's pretty fun! But troublesome cause you have to bring all your bathing stuff and it doesn't help that I've got Chem lab after :/
Vile Microscopes.

School's been busy busy busy. All the stress of completing tutorials and actually understanding what's going on in lectures is pretty overwhelming. I'm not used to some teachers really. Sometimes, they seem like they wanna just get things over and done with. Rushing through lessons without really realising that hey, some people are actually lost. I miss secondary school teachers. You can clarify whatever you want in class and they'd actually make the effort to answer your question.
Oh yes, I HATE Bio practicals now. It's ridiculously tough and I always struggle to do things right. There're like a billion steps and things to do and you've got to magically do them (yes, all one billion) in an hour. AND, answer the nonsense questions attached behind. First practical, we used the microscopes. The vile things gave me a horrible headache. Especially when you use the objectives with the highest power.
And trainings have been really trying - physically and mentally. I really don't know how I'm going to survive when it's gonna be three times a week. It is fun when we actually play the game, but getting the steps and movement right is really frustrating sometimes. But it does help that Coach is pretty nice and smile-ish about things in general. Though he smiles a little too much sometimes... but he's alright. And the team is shrinking - from 19 to 15. But I'm looking forward to our bonding camp next week. I've seen the programme for the camp and it looks fu-un :)
On the bright side, my class has been pretty fine. There're only 3 guys in my class though. Surprise of the century or what. I guess it's because of Bio. 3 guys, 22 girls. But people are generally nice. And it helps that I've got Eunice dear :)
Lord, I need Your grace. Help me learn to lean on You and not on my own strength. For the road is tough and I know not of what lies ahead. But most certainly, You are my refuge, a source of hope and strength.
